Rosneft Marine, through its network of partners and affiliates, supplies the full range of marine residual and distillate fuel. Utilising the vast production and distribution capabilities of its parent company, it maintains full control over its supply chain and the company delivers to its customers a range of marine fuels that are fully compliant with international maritime regulations and requirements such as the ISO 8217.
With the increasing demand for cleaner marine fuel and with a new global regulatory framework, the company’s commitment to its customers is further enhanced by the development of ultra-low sulphur marine fuel.
In June 2016, Komsomolsk refinery, a subsidiary of Rosneft, began the production of DMF marine fuel class I with improved environmental performance (sulphfur content less than 0.1%).
This fuel is fully compliant with the requirements of the international standard ISO 8217 and Council Directive No. 99/32 /EC which allow it to be used on ships whose routes pass through Sulphur Emissions Control Areas (SECA), which are areas with higher environmental requirements for shipping.
Currently Rosneft Marine offers the following products:
Residual Marine Fuels:
- RMG 380
- RME 180
- RMD80 (ULSFO)
Distillate Marine Fuels:
- MGO (DMA)
