Rosneft Marine, through its network of partners and affiliates, supplies the full range of marine residual and distillate fuel. Utilising the vast production and distribution capabilities of its parent company, it maintains full control over its supply chain and the company delivers to its customers a range of marine fuels that are fully compliant with international maritime regulations and requirements such as the ISO 8217.
With the increasing demand for cleaner marine fuel and with a new global regulatory framework, the company’s commitment to its customers is further enhanced by the development of ultra-low sulphur marine fuel.
In June 2016, Komsomolsk refinery, a subsidiary of Rosneft, began the production of DMF marine fuel class I with improved environmental performance (sulphfur content less than 0.1%).
This fuel is fully compliant with the requirements of the international standard ISO 8217 and Council Directive No. 99/32 /EC which allow it to be used on ships whose routes pass through Sulphur Emissions Control Areas (SECA), which are areas with higher environmental requirements for shipping.

Rosneft Oil Company is a leader in the Russian bunkering market. Currently it has over 20% of market share in Russian seaports and over 50% in river ports.

Petroleum products are transshipped at three Rosneft oil terminals in the seaports of: Nakhodka, Arkhangelsk and Tuapse. From the refineries the products are delivered directly to the marine oil terminals by rail, river and sea transport.
RN Bunker, physical supplier of Rosneft Marine, has representative offices in the key regions of the country: Nakhodka, Vladivostok, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Saint Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Samara. This ensures reliable control throughout all stages of bunker fuel deliveries to customers.
In 2012, in order to manage such a vast logistics network Rosneft Oil Company launched quality management strategy (QMBS) which exceeds the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008.
